Focusing, the felt sense, and meaning in life

Making sense of our existence is one the most demanding aspects being human. Studies have shown that meaning robustly associated with well-being and mental health. In this study 358 Dutch-speaking participants during covid-19 pandemic, we tested if practice contacting one’s felt (focusing attitude) would predict life satisfaction, psychological distress, existential anxiety. We also whether effect focusing attitude be partially mediated by experience in life. Our hypotheses were confirmed.
